Connecting Producers Globally

We create transparent trade routes that empower growers, farmers and buyers across continents with specialty in North America, Africa & Asia’s fast-growing markets.

Building trusted trade bridges in global agriculture

Our mission is to build trusted, resilient trade bridges that enable agricultural producers worldwide to compete fairly in global markets. By reconnecting Africa’s re-emergence as an agricultural hub with North American expertise and the fast-growing demand in Asia — with a primary focus on China — we design transparent, efficient, and profitable grain trade routes that work for both producers and buyers.

About our founder

RUDOAK Holdings is a Canadian-owned agri-trade company built on real-world experience designing high-scale, cross-border supply chains, empowering small producers, and fixing broken trade routes. Before entering grain markets, we helped local farmers break into major grocery chains in Africa, and re-engineered a Japan–Canada trade route that saved $7M in logistics cost for TOYOTA Motor Manufacturing Canada while creating opportunities that helped small Ontario businesses grow their revenue into multi-million-dollar players.

Today, we bring that same discipline, efficiency, and partnership mindset into agriculture — connecting grain producers in North America and Southern Africa to Asia’s fast-growing markets, with an initial focus on China’s demand for reliable, high-quality supply. Our work is grounded in trust, operational excellence, and building cross-border trade systems that benefit both producers and buyers, while supporting Africa’s re-emergence as a global agricultural force.

Rob Masungo is a strategy and operations leader who specializes in redesigning complex, high-scale operating systems under scale, cost, and risk pressure — and now applies that experience to cross-border agricultural trade between North America and Asia, with a primary focus on China.

His work focuses on identifying structural constraints within supply chains, logistics networks, and commercial ecosystems — and rebuilding them into scalable, durable operating models that continue to perform without constant oversight, particularly in cross-border and multi-market environments.

Rob’s approach was proven at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada, where he was deployed into high-risk logistics environments supporting live production. When inbound overseas container flows became constrained by rail capacity limitations and escalating dunnage fees, Rob evaluated alternative operating structures, assessed partner capabilities end-to-end, and designed a new execution model that rerouted the majority of inbound volume through a strategically aligned partner.

The result was an operating system that increased container throughput from 3 per day to up to 20 per day, eliminated approximately $7M in logistics cost exposure for Toyota, and enabled more than $3.5M in sustainable revenue for a partner organization — a model that remains operational today and informs how Rob now builds reliable, high-volume trade routes in agricultural markets.

Across industries and geographies, Rob is consistently engaged where existing systems can no longer support demand. His work spans enterprise operations, international trade development, and cross-border logistics, with a focus on building solutions that balance performance, risk, and long-term economic viability — the same principles he now applies to connecting North American producers with buyers in Asia, particularly in China’s grain markets.

Rob founded RUDOAK Holdings Inc to apply this same system-level thinking to organizations navigating growth, transition, or operational strain — helping leaders move beyond short-term fixes toward operating models that actually scale. In agriculture, that means building trusted, long-term trade bridges between producers and buyers, with a current emphasis on enabling North American suppliers to participate competitively in China and other Asian markets.

Supply Chain Re-imagined

When CN Rail increased dunnage fees without expanding processing capacity, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada faced significant cost exposure and operational risk.

Rob led a full evaluation of alternative logistics partners, assessing operational capability, yard capacity, safety standards, and geographic fit against Toyota’s inbound volumes.

He didn’t just introduce a vendor — he designed a scalable operating model that increased throughput from 3 containers per day to 15–20 per day.

The model remains in place today. Over three years, it has eliminated approximately $7M in logistics costs for Toyota and generated over $3.5M in revenue for Paul’s Logistics, while improving performance across Toyota’s broader transportation network.

Rob’s strength is his ability to see the entire system — commercial, operational, and risk — and build solutions that deliver sustained value.
